No stupid questions ;)

1. We really don't like the gabion wall.
2. This also applies to the shrubs.
3. Behind the shrubs is my parents' terrace, about 1.5m elevated. We're basically sitting on a silver platter and want to create some privacy there.

I also feel sorry for the beautiful climbing hydrangea, which is now going to be overgrown by the bamboo :oops:

I am really surprised that Thuja is being criticized so much here in the forum, but it feels like every second person has planted bamboo.. where is the added value for our nature here?

Yeah yeah and now go ahead and criticize..

Why? You are right. Bamboo is as ecological as Thuja and as golf turf. I hadn’t even noticed that so much bamboo is being planted.

It is important that something is planted in the first place. Anything is better than a stone desert.
