I have several flower meadows and a piece of natural meadow that has only been mowed twice a year for 3 years. My neighbors explicitly find that very beautiful ;).

In the side front garden, I am currently letting [Taubnesseln] grow, they have already occupied 2 square meters :D. A real bumblebee magnet.

We also have rampant growth here, and in the meadow last year in spring I had lots of flax in all colors, meadow foamflower, poppies, and grasses. Then came cornflowers, chamomile in abundance (that was an explosion of scent), daisies, and even more grasses. And then in autumn came wild carrot, which grew in huge bushes over 2m high, and chicory in abundance. According to identification books, chicory grows to about 50-120m. Mine almost all shot up to 2m and grew in thick bushes. It always looked great in the morning; they bloom bright blue. Unfortunately, in the sun from noon they close their flowers, and then the garden looks quite scruffy :-D But in autumn we were compensated for that, as we regularly had visits from up to 10 goldfinches, who pulled out every seed there was to find.

I am curious what will grow this year. What I will do this year, however, is mow a slightly wider path around the beds so that I can reach everything better and so that you can walk through the garden without immediately disturbing hordes of bees, hoverflies, spiders, grasshoppers, field wasps, robber flies, beetles, bugs, and various other small creatures...

Dandelion grows everywhere here where it is in the way. Preferably right in the middle of the plants so that you can't pick it. On 400 sqm of wild growth slope, not one grows

I've had our dandelion under control since last year – thanks to such a long pulling tool. I really don't like it at all. Instead, we're struggling with moss... anyway: no gardening is scheduled at the moment, rather walks, which are still allowed ;) Afterwards, I sit on the steps and stretch my muscles... the view is quite worth seeing despite the gloomy weather. And how about you?

beautiful view. We are currently going against the trend away from the snow. There are more day tourists here in one week than in the entire year of 2020
