I think you have bad odds with that, in the neighbors' roll turf (3 weeks old) I can already see the Poa too

good to know that you can watch the lawn die after just half a year. I could have saved myself the thousands of euros

Not sure if it is annua. Do you have a lawn mixture with supina? You won’t get rid of it by mowing. Annua and also supina love a deep cut. The lawn does not die. Glyphosate on it and overseed the next day. Or dig it out. Or just overseed the rest of the lawn now and then with a lighter mixture. Then it won’t be noticeable anymore. Some PGA golf courses rely on Annua. With regular mowing (with sharp blades), fertilizer, and water, you achieve 80-90%. If you want more, it becomes (as almost always) significantly more labor-intensive.

I have no idea which lawn mix this is. My landscaper says that the mixture always contains Kentucky bluegrass because of its stability. But since it grows out in a circular pattern over time, that can't be the purpose. He just said that it needs to be mowed regularly and fertilized in autumn for 2 years. Then there will be no more Kentucky bluegrass. No idea if I should believe him...

when the dry season comes you should conserve water, then it will wither if I remember correctly.

yes, that's how it should be. Nevertheless, the seeds survive and I have the same problem again next year. Not to mention the brown spots that appear on the lawn...
