Strawberry harvest as of today: 52 kg! Although the roasting sun is causing a few (few) berries that have ventured too far out from under the foliage to cook, the others have become so sweet... it is a delight! However, the harvest peak has definitely passed... the quantity is now decreasing and the fruits are smaller.

This harvest was from June 13th... that's just under 4 kg:

I had not tied up a tomato variety because it has such strong stems and stands very well on its own. Yesterday the plants fell over. I had never seen that before. It is known that leaves curl up from lack of water, but lying flat like this I had not seen. There was nothing wilted to be seen. It appears vital.

I want to reseed the beans from the project this week. None of some varieties have come up.

Strawberry harvest as of today: 26.4 kg o_O Just a reminder… here’s another picture (from April) of the area that produces this. They were Frigo plants, planted last summer (150 pieces). They already brought a small late harvest back then. So this is currently the 2nd year.
