Nope.. just go for it and that’s it.. and always mulch nicely, then the soil stays moist.

Boohoo....

I wanted to order roses directly from David Austin and then plant them in November – I simply think they have the most beautiful roses (like, the ones I like and many that also still smell good). Yesterday I received the following message:

"Please note that we can no longer accept new orders because, according to the current guidelines, we had to suspend our order fulfillment to protect our employees and the general public. I am sorry to disappoint you, but we are doing everything to support the fight against this disease. Please follow all current and new information on our website. Customers with pending orders will be offered a full refund or the option to hold your order until we can resume shipping. Our phone lines remain open. Answering your call may take longer than usual."

Now I can only hope that maybe they will ship again in November... *sniff*

Oh no. Take a look at Rosenhof Schultheis. For the bed with cardboard (I have that too) Google root system. Marie explains it nicely, even with a video.

unfortunately, many shops in the UK do not ship plants to Germany.

do you perhaps know any?

Without Corona Climbee, just go over there and check out garden centers and gardens. The islanders know about flowers and gardens. Then also magazines about gardens.

Schultheis also looks good, even though I find the search for suitable roses there a bit tedious. Thanks!

Our oven is almost finished today (photos will follow), it just needs plastering. But we should have it well heated through beforehand. We'll start tonight. First with 3 kg of wood, then tomorrow with 5 kg of wood, then once more and then I can finally bake *froiiiiiii*. That means: this weekend there will be the first bread from our own wood oven! I'll prepare the starter for that.

And outside I hear the carpenters who are currently working on our wooden terrace (I’ll take a photo of that in the evening as well).

It's happening!!!!
