For now, I am only watching the crocuses, tulips, and hyacinths pushing through the soil. Last year, our hydrangeas got caught "cold." The freshly sprouted leaf tips all froze to death when there were a few days of subzero temperatures again. The hydrangeas had a hard time with that...

Same here. The late frost at the beginning of May caused more damage than the whole winter. It's supposed to get really cold again in the second half of March. According to the forecast, down to -6 degrees. Until then, the little plants on the windowsill just have to be pampered.

The weather is milder where you are.

The next 10 days are also very good here. But after that, it is supposed to change.
