Is there actually a permissible total weight for birdhouses? Currently, there are 12 starlings sitting in ours  They're going to eat the hair off my head... on the other hand, they're also helping to aerate the lawn :p

Before getting annoyed about panicles, just take a moment to deal with the topic of gratitude :) I spent several afternoons back then picking dandelions... now it takes a manageable 5 minutes.

After our flight to a risk area was canceled, I was also able to start planting. As I have seen, you already started in April with tomatoes and co?! This year I’m trying a mix of cabbage and melons :) The ugly marigolds are supposed to drive away the ants...

Without wanting to step on anyone's toes, I think everyone simply has different tastes and expectations of how they envision their garden. If the lawn is in perfect condition, I personally prefer less planting around it, as the focus is on the lawn itself, which I find very striking and very appealing.

Our winter vacation, which was postponed to Pentecost, is also a no-go again. Not a risk area at all. We are even officially allowed to travel starting today. But what is expected when the hygiene plans for Friday are available on Wednesday evening? It was too risky for the landlord to open immediately on the 21st - without precise details - and for us, it was too short notice.

There is a tremendous amount of work behind such a well-maintained lawn. Even with irrigation and Robi. No idea why green is considered low-maintenance.

I guess I’ll have to get some marigolds too. My raised bed and the potato pyramid are swarming with ants. They’re eating my radishes
