A well is simply brilliant. Unfortunately, we don't have one and at the moment there is no money to have one drilled.

Vegetables: Yesterday we brought 23 (!) tubs into the courtyard. Cucumbers, pumpkins, zucchinis, beans, tomatoes, bush basil, parsley, eggplant, bell peppers, jalapenos. And in the raised bed and an extra large tub as well as the greenhouse we also have some. Totally crazy. But well, my brother takes care of that... personally, I wouldn't want to pursue it so extensively. Oh, and I still have coriander, but I need to repot it.

However, despite very regular watering, the lawn simply burned everywhere last year where it was in full sun. Only the one in partial shade survived. However, it has sprouted again everywhere this year; so at least it didn't kill it.

Rain is very welcome, the forest floor is still bone dry at 80cm, which is not good. In the regions Bergisches Land and Sauerland, it is questionable whether the spruce as a native tree will survive. Drought causes the trees to produce little resin to defend themselves against the bark beetle. Additionally, the winter was too mild. We do not have spruces ourselves, but the area will change visually.
