Today I used the vacation to build a fire pit.

Looks good! I am planning something like that too. Question: Why do you use the bowl and didn’t build the fire pit so that you can put the wood in directly? I would then build a slightly raised edge and just put a grate on top. That seems the most practical to me.

In mid-July, I created a new large strawberry bed and planted it with Frigo strawberries. Since then, the strawberries have already grown quite well. Today, I was even able to taste the first red berry :) Next year, they will be lush plants and cover the wood chips. Unfortunately, the fleece is necessary because otherwise the weeds would simply gain the upper hand.
