We planted our mini-bed in front of the house. I'm curious to see how it develops; at the nursery, I was advised not to plant any more in the small bed.
that's enough, even if they are plants that spread out. People tend to plant way too densely anyway when the stuff is still so small. Then it starts and wuuuusch green explosion :-D
I think the sod raised bed is cool - I have to think right away where I’ll put something like that, I still have a few to dig up here...
I am still waiting for plants for the prairie bed. The frost has thinned it out well.
New beds only in autumn when all the birds have flown from the nursery. Not much happened in spring, the weather was too bad. I planted a piece of wall crown, that's it.
Today I’m showing you again the retaining wall made from old railway sleepers built by our boys, which I get to lovingly maintain twice a year. I plant almost exclusively gifted cushion perennials that can also withstand the summer heat. Watering is really rare and yet very little gets damaged. Instead of the lattice fence, a photovoltaic system will be installed on three sides in July. (East-South-West) The green strips above the photovoltaic system and below towards the settlement road will be covered with gravel.
