how did you construct the man-high fence? The one with the wooden slats on the "metal rod". Looks good.

Zucchini didn’t grow - it was too cold at the end of May/beginning of June
Cucumbers had a similar fate
Tomatoes [Braunfäule]. They are already completely leafless

We had a landscaping gardener with heavy equipment. You mean the privacy fence, right? I rummaged a bit through old pictures:

Thank you! That is practically a second house, the terrace (just in terms of effort ;) ). I think the look is great, metal and wood side by side and no DIY store chic. Are the metal supports custom-made or can you buy them like that?

Yes, we have more concrete in the garden than in the whole house (it is a wooden house).

The metal parts were a custom-made order. Our garden landscaper had a metalworker at hand who made everything to measure. For us, also the wood storage and raised beds.

You can also get inspiration under "Gartenmetall" (just search online, then the homepage will appear) or order from there. If I remember correctly, they also do custom-made orders.
But we preferred having a metalworker on site.

And of course, it has to be securely fastened. If the wind hits it, a safe statics is definitely needed.
