When relaxation becomes a duty, the hobby is gone. I would also like 3000-4000 sqm of land. And the money to pay someone for its maintenance.

Oh great, so much space. Stream with a large (swimming) pond... And definitely 2-3 big trees. A willow, a linden.... oh I would love to have so much space.

But then, as wrote, with staff. Otherwise, it becomes overgrown or you are busy for hours every day. You can no longer enjoy it. Therefore, we will try to design the garden to be quite low-maintenance and automate certain things. Our small garden will be enough for us.

We will not plant a hedge due to the maintenance, for example. Even if you took something slow-growing, that would be 150 meters to cut, and all the green waste first...

It already helps to use native plants that are winter-hardy and suited to the soil. But if you desperately try to keep something in the garden that simply doesn’t thrive there, the life-sustaining measures are naturally labor-intensive.
