I recently also saw a round vegetable garden. Would set up several pieces like Climbee, so you don’t have to step in. Tomatoes without rain protection work and our climate is rather harsh. Last autumn I got tomatoes from a colleague who has been growing them without protection for years with good to very good yields. I saved seeds from them, curious if it will work. Otherwise, last year I had Sugar Gloss, The Amateur (they were tasteless), and Cherry Cascade. The Amateur split, they probably found it too wet. Since they didn’t taste good anyway, I don’t have space for them. Still surprised how tasteless homegrown tomatoes can be.

Has any of you ever grown your tomatoes as a "Klima-Tomate"? Sounds tempting, no watering

I’m probably really too stupid to put something in 3D and then also at different heights on paper.

These elongated strips are not supposed to get high, as I said 30 or 40. The "square" a bit higher, by about 10 cm. A fan maple or something similar should go in there. Alternatively, herbs that can nicely creep over the step. Or would you have better ideas? At the moment I’m a bit overwhelmed to imagine the basis for a nicely designed garden from an empty plot.

Just start and do it. It will develop.

I happened to discover this kitchen garden once during a walk and will copy it for our new home. I think it just looks beautiful, with the round shapes. However, I still have to find out if it fits our square house.

The garden lies still...

While shoveling snow, we noticed that even here in Lusatia, we had a very thin layer of snow tinted Sahara sand color. The fresh snow was then pure white again.. :)

We also have snow.

We have hardly any snow, but freezing rain created amazing images.
