I am currently working through point three on the seemingly 27-page outdoor to-do list ;-)
2 of the 4 planned planter boxes are already almost finished. Plants for privacy screening are supposed to go in there.
Currently planned are bamboo and glossy laurel.
The boxes are handmade and made of bankirai, dimensions 150 cm long x 45 cm wide and approx. 70 cm high.
Inside, suitable mortar buckets rest on battens. On top, there will be a rim for the appearance.
Why are other gardens so beautifully colorful and already finished...? I am a bit jealous...
Why do you want to plant the bushes in boxes? The roots can't really spread out there and might possibly suffer damage from frost in winter.
