whether he would accept it if I demanded that he use headphones in the garden.
I keep accidentally pulling out the cable, or the phone from my pocket, which then falls to the ground, or I get tangled up in the cable and stumble. I can't stand in-ear headphones,
Why should it be different for him? Why should he, if you yourself say that it’s annoying?
However, we also speak relatively quietly in the garden. I don’t want to blast anything and at the same time, I don’t feel like dealing with curious neighbors.
Same with us: my husband and I are two people and introverted as a couple. If we are loud, then it’s situational inside the house. But not outside.
Recently while camping: we are lying on the lounger – next door some guests arrive. Then they are four. Loud laughter, beers and sparkling wine. Lengthy conversations about the brother-in-law’s cheating, her behavior, and so on and so forth. Reminded me of Mario Barth.
I thought my husband was asleep. But when he giggled to me, "I’ll go get us some Fassbrause now, then we’ll have top-notch ruckus from the front row," we amused ourselves for over an hour listening to their conversations. Eventually, I nodded off :D
