We would like to plant several larger trees at our place (after the new building is completed). We do have a green strip of about 10x20m, but on the remaining property of 60x20m there is not a single tree. What are the costs for, for example, a 3m tall spruce or Nordmann fir? Ideally everything in one, including transport and planting. And which trees can you recommend?

Go to the next [Baumschule] or the next [Garten- und Landschaftsbauer] who offers installation. Get advice. Consider what you want. Conifer, deciduous tree, fruit tree, nut tree, focus on bees, birds, appearance, etc.

I estimate about 400 euros per tree for that size + transport + planting

And then? Who was there first? The agriculture or the residential area?

Honestly, the residential area… The oldest houses date back to the 1930s. When we bought the property, it was still in the drinking water protection area. The old drinking water pump is even still behind our property. Such substances would have been prohibited there anyway. For example, we were not allowed to install a geothermal pump. However, it has since been rezoned, no longer a drinking water protection area. It is good if people come and ask questions.. maybe only then new ways will be considered.

Yes.. I am not driving myself crazy.. but I am sensitized and will also address it in the daycare. On the spraying day, the little ones better not be outside.

In Berlin Neukölln there is the Späth nursery, a real traditional business - definitely worth a visit! They surely have nicer ideas than spruces ;)
