Yes, that's true. That way, the driveway, the terrace, and the concrete posts for the fence are about €2,000 cheaper than stated in the offer. We need the buffer to also be able to pave in front of the house sometime.

Here first is my detailed construction plan for the bikeport...

And today I set up the first two supports at the front. Unfortunately, the ordered screws for the L-bricks are still missing for the back (so that the little house doesn't fly away like at my brother's place once)

Of course, I only had time because I hadn't managed to test myself free

I need to vent my frustration now: I have been wanting to assemble my raised bed for weeks. For that, I need to do some screwing and hammering in the garden. But I can't because it's simply too hot. Damn climate change. :(

I have wanted to redesign a few flowerbeds for a few weeks now, including relocating bushes/shrubs. It doesn't work because of rain and lack of water - in this weather that would be the death of many plants, which are already struggling :(

It's actually not the right time for it anyway, regardless of this year's drought. I also want to make some changes, planned for the end of September, when the plants have finished blooming and lose their leaves anyway, making it easier for them. But I actually transplanted a few large privet bushes in the last two weeks, and they look good. Otherwise, they would have been removed from their previous spots, so the effort was worth it. But that means watering them every evening.

I was at an old monastery over the weekend where the high water marks of the Danube were marked … places 1 and 2 and over 1 meter higher than the next highest: in the years 1784 and 1845. Humans couldn’t have been the problem then …. Yes, the climate is changing but how much influence humans have on it and above all the Germans I question myself.
