more photos? ok...
here’s a comparison between April and July. Almost all of you had said that it started later this year, and it was the same for us, it was simply too cool. In the April picture, there are only a few tulips.
The hedge has grown especially well this year, finally we don’t have to look at cars and neighbors anymore ;) In the fall, I’ll probably top the hawthorn.

Meadow below in July after mowing the paths. I urgently need to scythe the rest and cut earlier next year so that biodiversity increases a bit again, it wasn’t as good this year as last year.

All in all, I didn’t take that many photos this year - it’s like with children: when they are small, there’s a picture of every little thing, later rather few and only when requested by relatives ;)
Below is the bed in front of the privet hedge to the neighbor, April and July. I overplanted a bit, had put in a lot of coneflowers, but it really is too shady for them - from around 3/4 p.m. depending on the day, the privet actually casts quite a bit of shade.
The lilies find it just right that way. Baby’s breath also grows vigorously if you don’t cut it back.
