Open the paper. I recently received one as a gift, it was sitting in a very strange soil, heavy and it didn’t absorb any water. I would place it roughly in the same conditions as in the store. If it was inside there, I would put it by the window; if it was outside, I would put it outside again. Be careful, it will be quite chilly some nights coming up.

It stood outside in the store, but it's quite possible they brought it inside at night. Should I probably do the same?
Should I water it?

Of course. If the soil is dry, water it. Flowering plants always need a lot of water.

Exactly, water only when dry. It looks like mine that had that strange soil. I watered it daily until it was repotted.

Out during the day and inside at night sounds good.

We have a roommate in the garden pond. Now the frogs live dangerously.

Uaaaaha. Note to myself: Never, but really never, plan a garden pond.

No no, seriously not. Then Dad can take the kids to the reptile house, I'll treat myself to a chocolate ice cream and a Tavor in the meantime.
