The low one on which the ducks stood is new. Double brickwork, two visible sides, old stones.
The one with the trellis and the tulips in front is original. Built in 1928, formerly a cowshed. Joints repaired.

We have a new garden resident who cheekily grinned at us at the Art-of-Eden in Krefeld. His name is Mitch, and he was welded together from iron parts by the artist and caricaturist Horst W. Wendland.

Is he allowed to move with us?

Of course! Just like the other garden residents. You must not let them live too close together, then it becomes kitschy. These Bremer here, by the same artist, still live in the house and are allowed onto the covered terrace in the new house.
