About Yvonne and the Blaukorn. It is not out, just too cheap for the specialty store. It serves its purpose, the grass grows and grows and displaces the clover. It worked for us. Blaukorn is almost pure N, nitrogen. More long-term effects would be from wheat fertilizer, that is N plus P plus S and possibly some iron and magnesium, it is a bit more expensive, 25 kg about 22,- instead of 15,-, but in return it improves the soil life at the same time and lasts longer. To just get rid of clover, Blaukorn is sufficient. The problem with every mineral fertilizer is the dose, too much is bad for the groundwater and bad for the plant, it burns. The inexperienced also fertilize too unevenly, the hand should distribute the fertilizer evenly in gentle swings, not a bit here a bit there a bit here nothing, karsten

We tried to get the "garden" somewhat under control on Saturday, as it was getting a bit out of hand.
Here is a before photo, from the soil excavation to what is now our view:

And this is the current status: (photographed from the garden house towards the street)

All with a petrol lawn mower that possibly still dates back to the GDR and only has a 30-centimeter cutting width. In the meantime, we looked so miserable that the neighbor handed us his petrol brush cutter for the worst weeds. All of this, of course, also at 30 degrees and not a bit of wind..... At least we grilled for the first time on the property now

Why did you mow where the construction pit is supposed to be? Or am I just not understanding something right now
