Parts of the garden were in spring, which it is now catching, other parts were still in winter mode, which won't matter to it.

This is not the first year in which some frost causes harvest losses in the fruit.

Ours both don't have leaves yet and the flowers are just thick buds, thank God :)

Quite possible. We’ll wait and see. In November 2019, I created a prairie garden. Before frost and snow, the mulch layer had not been applied and the plants were therefore poorly protected. It caused hardly any damage. Unlike this winter. Maybe you’ll be lucky. The winter had already caused some damage. I’ll check after the Ice Saints to see what needs to be replaced. Until then, I’m being cautious. Even though it’s hard. I love having soil on my fingers.
