Neither do we. We had 70% of the normal rainfall. But that is purely an average consideration. There were only two wet months; the others were much too dry, the worst being February with only 11% of the normal amount. The two very wet months save the average, but not the plants.

Yes, that is crazy. We had a few heavy rain events. Once, 3 km away, bridge underpasses were no longer passable, and here it just drizzled briefly!

Last year the heavy rain wasn't so bad at all. 2018 was a different caliber. Since then, we no longer park over the manhole cover at my parents' house - even though they live quite high up on the hill.
