IKEA Godmorgon Cabinet - How to combine and attach?

There is some dragging on our side and we are not yet ready to install the washbasin and the cabinet. Everything is still on hold. Don't be surprised, I am operating here at the second Karma level.

So, basically live from the construction site: washbasin and cabinet are installed.

Villeroy & Boch Avento 100 cm Ikea God Morgon 100 cm.

Both fit well together in terms of mounting, the crossbar and the brackets are clear at the back of the sink. We only had to cut out a small part of the Pax back panel of the upper drawer to make room for the space-saving siphon. The siphon is simply from the DIY store.

One should note: the sink is tapered, 100 cm wide at the top, 98 cm wide at the bottom. The washbasin cabinet is 100 cm wide, so it protrudes by 2 cm. But we were aware of that. We still wanted to combine it with God Morgon instead of paying more than double the price for a matching Villeroy & Boch cabinet. The sink is also not flat at the bottom, although advertised as a cabinet sink. However, if you look at the pictures in bathroom shops, you can also see a gap with the combination with Villeroy & Boch washbasins.

Addition: the sink is mounted separately on the wall, so the cabinet is simply hung underneath.

The push open valve that came with the faucet also fits the siphon without any problems.

Of course. As long as everyone has their own faucet, the world is fine. We didn’t want a giant sink, nor two separate basins. Two taps, that was important.
