Shoes on the terrace; where to put them? Would a cabinet be the solution?

The utility room with a door is at the exact opposite end of the house for us. The coat rack is closer there. Shoes go to the coat rack in the evening or stay lying by the door. My shoes are everywhere anyway, just not where I am looking for them.

I find a shelf or cabinet a bit over the top... a cabinet for every little thing... It also spoils the ambiance! Why don't you try buying Crocs that match the colors of the decor/tiles [emoji12]

At my mother's place, there is a doormat inside the patio door. There are always 2 pairs of Crocs lying there. In winter, they are often in the hallway because people don't go outside that often then.

Somewhere the Crocs are lying around, they are put on there and left outside where you go back inside. Then to go out again from there. And if that doesn't help, barefoot...
