Hi
it is a vertical Faktum wall cabinet, a completely normal FAKTUM wall cabinet, e.g. 90 cm high x 40 cm wide. I want to hang it 90 cm wide and 40 cm high horizontally on the wall. Since I have the cabinet body and don’t want to buy a new one. I bought the hinges shown in the picture individually. A vertical cabinet will become a horizontal cabinet. For this, I need the exact position where the hinges must be screwed onto the cabinet.
Regards

I realize I hadn’t read the first post properly. ops:
I mentioned the measurements for the holes above. You only need to drill them about 3 mm deep, since only the pins of the hinge go in there and the screws are simply screwed into the wood.
When the cabinet lies on its side, the bottom is held only by the four dowels of the connecting fittings. With normal installation, the wooden dowels also hold it. This problem should be solvable if you disassemble the cabinet again and glue in the wooden dowels.
The linked hinge is for a maximum door size of 80 x 40; for a 92 cm door you need:

Utrusta
Hinge floor plan for horizontal door, black

You can check in the Blum catalog how many kilos AVENTOS HK and HK-S can carry. They might be slightly different, but it gives you a reference point.

Not quite.

From the front edge 52 mm.
The first hole 5 cm from the very top, so measured inside 50 mm - 18 mm = 32 mm

Well, take a look at the sketch, in the correct position the lid and bottom are between the sidewalls, each is held per side by two eccentrics and wooden dowels. If you rotate the system by 90°, usually only the eccentric holds the load, the thread on the eccentric should not be longer than about 5 - 8 mm.

So depending on the load, the force acts longitudinally to the fastening, tensile force, (it is also only a wood thread in chipboard) compared to 90° load in the correct position, i.e. shear forces.

If the glasses are not a whole armada of Maßkrüge from the Wiesn, it should be fine, I wouldn't put grandmother's 24-piece dinner service in there.
