Solar panel shading caused by neighbor's trees

It was probably rather short-sighted to build a photovoltaic system despite the trees. That was predictable.

I have looked at the paragraphs, it is clearly and unmistakably stated what is allowed and what is not. Back then, we had our own trees pruned because of the photovoltaic system. No problem, you quickly forget how tall they were. And since we are the only ones who have trees, bushes, etc., we told our neighbors (3) to let us know if something bothers them, we will prune. Most are happy to be able to enjoy our "green." Once, someone wanted a tree trimmed because of his cubbyhouse, which he wanted to set up next to our side. We did it, but the kids no longer live there and our tree was eventually replaced by an olive tree.

In the said case, we would prune from our side; neighborly cooperation is more important to me than a tree.

I approached our neighbors early. We had to clear our property, and I offered him that he could, if he wanted, have his 6 tall fir trees "cut down" at the same time. Disposal would then take place cost-effectively through our property. After a short consideration, he decided to do it that way. Perfect. Now there is no shading, and the photovoltaic modules have "almost" sun all day long. :cool:

Or completely disconnect from the satellite dish and switch to IPTV.

As long as the program fits... We are English-German and rarely watch TV, but we do like the BBC. On the internet, geofencing is an obstacle, and I have not yet found free, high-performance IP tunnels to the island.
