Sealing terrace exit / door in double-shell masonry

However, I had the sealing of the PSK against the base repaired three times until I was satisfied. Ideally, the sealing should have been planned in detail from the beginning, with connections protruding from the clinker.

What is a PSK? What do you mean by cantilevering the connections out?

PSK = Parallel-slide-tilt door, or something like that

Google "der vergessene Anschluss," then the problem will probably become clear to you. It would have been good if the handle guy had let the base sealing "hang out" into the reveal, then one could have easily glued the lower sealing of the terrace exit there.

Although I have read the technical article on the subject, it is not entirely clear to me how the sealing would now be carried out here. We actually wanted to pave both the terrace and the front door entrance without a podium (at ground level). How could the sealing be designed there? Stick it to the door/terrace element directly below the threshold?

If you simply stick a sealing membrane under the threshold now, water will run behind it on the left and right sides. Therefore, the sealing must be extended at least into the reveal with liquid plastic or similar. Ultimately, this is only a temporary solution because the brick facade itself is not waterproof or even causes condensation water on the inside. This can also run under the threshold into the floor insulation.
