A healthy attitude. There will be more rough edges with things and people at your construction site; better look for solutions instead of trying to enforce something by force. For me, it is always crucial whether it happens out of laziness or ignorance, or if it is an accident. When reflecting on the respective event, ideas sometimes come up that ultimately are better or at least good. The craftsmen also all ordered too late for me in the end and were surprised, even though it was foreseeable for us builders that the respective delivery would be tight. Save your energy for the really important things.

For our prime property, the construction road had to be placed under the current driveway. The civil engineer/landscaper/paver removed 30-40cm of topsoil and filled and compacted it with recycled material, which then became the construction road. Beneath that were already all the pipes/conduits. Then the house was built and all the connections were made. Afterwards, the terrace and cistern were built, edges were set, recycled material was leveled, paved, and topsoil distributed. Always from back to front, all done with a wheel loader. The paved path is now passable with 10t vehicles, e.g., moving truck, motorhome, tradesmen’s van, i.e. plan with and for the civil engineer, and the boss was told, if pool then now

No, neither 1, nor 2, nor 3.
You always report here that you basically have everything under control and now it already fails because of a simple "concrete lump." This plus accessories should have long been ordered and could have been stored with you "in the forest." Then he just has to find another source. I can't imagine that they are "sold out worldwide."
If you don't install it now, you won't do it later either. Additional services/costs because of extra effort if the "house is already standing." (Can't get around the house anymore? Crane? …)

Being a builder basically means having a second full-time job. ;)

Really? Where exactly? We are just at the beginning... And no, he couldn't have been ordered at the beginning. Because if you are a diligent reader, you hardly missed the tree felling. And such a concrete block in the middle of the property that has to be moved would not cause any jubilation at that company. Being a builder also means making compromises and not trying to enforce everything by banging your head against the wall. Besides, it's not a full-time job, otherwise no one could afford to give up their job for 1 year. It certainly takes a lot of time and you have to think/organize a lot. But it's all manageable.

Are the development costs so high because your house is located relatively far back?

I think so. The house is 16m away from the street. But I don’t know if the €9,800 for house connection: water + wastewater and construction water is a lot? My plan was: house connection water + wastewater + electricity = €18,500. Construction water: €1,500. I estimated construction electricity at €2,000.
