Atlas Concorde always has a good offer. Ours are also from AC, but stone design, not wood. They cost about 70€/sqm 9 years ago, so yours are a bargain :p
To be honest, we thought that for the 25€/sqm included in the construction specification, we would find something good. But since we ordered the tiles for the bathrooms from Poland (manufacturer: EVO), we thought that at least for the floors, we would order from the main contractor’s supplier so that the tiler wouldn't complain... In the end, he is very relaxed.
With the tiles from Poland, 4 packages were missing (after the tiler planned everything) and 3 packages were defective. So now I have to go to Szczecin again on Wednesday to get the missing ones. They are already ordered and the corresponding batches are also in stock.
In the end, I have to say that the tiler’s extra costs are higher than expected.
1. Edge strips are made of metal and not plastic as in the construction specification.
2. Expansion strips are also made of metal and have a replaceable rubber part.
3. Tiles are larger, thus surcharge.
4. Fan-shaped niches in the drywall in the bathrooms and a 2m LED strip will still be installed.
I think we will easily reach a surcharge of €6,000. But it’s what it is, you have to get through it :-)
