Two notes on storage batteries: 1. If you buy them at the same time as [Photovoltaik], you get the VAT refunded. Not if purchased later. 2. There are subsidies depending on the federal state. In our case ([NRW]) it was at least €200 per kWh. We paid €6,500 last year for 10 kWh including battery inverter and installation. Minus subsidy, so €4,500. I thought that was OK

And here is a current screenshot from my photovoltaic portal so you can see how a battery has an effect. 'Eigenversorgung' is the self-consumed electricity with battery, 'Direktverbrauch' would be without battery.

The VAT back? Where does it say that? I come from Brandenburg, there are no subsidies here anymore :-( I have now looked it up. You have to register for VAT liability, i.e. register a business? Or how do I understand that?

I also think this is just the preparation for the battery and wallbox, and then I will decide.
