Yesterday we visited other builders who are also building with our general contractor. I especially wanted to check out the Q2 plaster. It was as smooth as a baby’s bottom. So more like Q3. I was also quite impressed by the young couple (mid-20s). They hardly think about things like we do, they just build or have it built. House is 188 sqm (just the two of them) without controlled residential ventilation, chimney, or frills. But with a garage. Everything runs smoothly for them. According to them, a big advantage with this GC is that during construction everything except load-bearing walls can be changed.
So we are still very reassured about the decision for the GC and are (im)patiently waiting for the building permit.
