What insulation thickness do your hot water pipes and the supply and return lines have? I find laying them directly on the floor slab not optimal regarding heat loss.

In this regard, I found this in the construction specifications.

That may all be installed correctly according to the Building Energy Act, but I cannot assess that in detail. However, it can be better than just the standard. We have 130 mm insulation under the screed, consisting of 2 x 50 mm 032 insulation and 30 mm tacker roll. With us, a complete insulation layer of 50 mm was first installed, and only then were the sanitary and heating installations laid on top. The second insulation layer was installed crosswise. All hot water pipes are thus in the pipe insulation (simple) and still at least 50 mm within the insulation layers.

If you are already going to this effort, I would have laid aluminum-laminated PUR insulation directly under the hot water pipes. In new construction, fixing the pipes to the floor slab is common practice.

For our KfW Efficiency House 55EE, 130 mm 032 insulation was sufficient. I actually had your suggestion in mind as well. But the additional cost was not worth it to me. The crosswise laying and installation on the lowest insulation level was without extra charge.

No, rather it depends on the standard. Here, according to the Energy Saving Ordinance.
