I haven't read everything in detail yet, but have you ever furnished the living room? It gets pretty tight and the table feels like it's standing in the hallway and awkwardly in front of the window. You’re wasting unnecessary space for the kitchen, in my opinion. Either open with an island for seating or with a sliding door, but then without bar stools and the space needed for them.

You could also consider closing the living room with sliding doors and combining the kitchen and dining area into one unit. That would probably create more space. But then please with a large window at the dining table, because I also think there’s a lack of window area there. In the living room, for this idea, the lift-and-slide door should be mirrored.

Thanks for the suggestion. We have already furnished the room. Since there are three of us, the table will be about 1.60m - 1.80m and the sofa about 2.4m x 1.80m. We have placed all the furniture we are bringing with us. Everything fit very well. Sure, it won’t be super spacious, but that’s what we didn’t want anyway; otherwise, we would have built much bigger.

Our attitude is: "We are building for ourselves and not for others" :-)

: You have recognized that correctly and we have already gone over all of it. But that doesn't help. It is built so "awkwardly" and that's it. And it's too dark there as well. But that doesn’t matter either.

Sigh.., just do it :) Arguments like "we are just different" and "we don't plan for others" I've often read over the years in planning errors. But it is what it is :)

I also know enough people who cannot accept the opinions of others. There are quite a few of those here. We don't have to implement everything you suggest to us. But we gladly accept it and think about it. Just because someone has a pink shirt doesn't mean he is a planning mistake :-) Tastes are different and we just don't want a big table in the kitchen. The wall will be built as drywall, in case we later prefer an open concept.

I can! But they are just opinions..,(ditto ;)) in this case (#154) I addressed my answer to . And yes: I do not confuse taste with planning mistakes.
