Construction of a 144 sqm bungalow in Fichtenwalde (near Potsdam)

Don't say that:
A staircase is a basic to get from one floor to another. Your house will have a very uncomfortable staircase, namely the attic hatch ladder, but it is a staircase.
Others simply plan a somewhat more stable common staircase, that has proven itself.

However, the staircase will maybe be used once a week and the distances in a bungalow are more comfortable, since there is no staircase and I don't have to carry things like dirty laundry up and down. As already mentioned, it's all a matter of taste.

The stairs will only be used maybe once a week

2 years after moving in, the stairs will only be used once every 6-8 weeks

Others simply plan a slightly more stable standard staircase, that has proven itself.

In the family circle, there is also a bungalow. And there, a fixed staircase is installed in the house entrance / anteroom. One then gladly goes upstairs to fetch or store something. With a "chicken ladder," that is rather not the case (there was one in the parental home), so, as already noted, the upper area is only accessed every few weeks. From my perspective, this means that this storage space is not really used as such. But whatever, I don’t have to go up there. :D

What are basics?

Here again is the small list:

[*]a bright, inviting, light-flooded bungalow definitely looks different
[*]the entrance with a view towards the dressing/bedroom wall and then the "left turn" to living/dining is not really successful
[*]I would never consider penetrating the roof membrane with expensive spotlights in a new building (in an old building/renovation, if it can’t be done otherwise, yes...)
[*]even though hallways in bungalows are always difficult (you have to get to the other rooms somehow), I find the ratio hallway / living-dining with 20 m² to 30 m² not appropriate. In contrast, the kitchen with pantry is "too big" in relation. I also consider the furnishing of living/dining difficult (just tight). If you position the dining table directly after the kitchen (where else?), you get the impression of sitting "in the hallway" due to the wide access to the hallway.
[*]in my opinion, the kitchen to living/dining wall already disturbs the plan..
[*]sleeping + dressing with just under 20 m² is actually sufficient. However, with this layout/division there is a lack of wall space for cupboards. (How should the dressing be equipped? only the 3.11 m, L or completely U?)
[*]I find no storage space (Did I overlook the attic?)
[*]the terrace is also in the borderline area. Especially the depth at 2.46 m.

Here again the small list:

I have already refuted a few things. And it should be clear that it is only about the covered terrace, which is being expanded. The covered terrace is for the rainy season, so that one can continue to have breakfast outside, etc.

Or you really only store things up there that you only need to access every few weeks. Summer clothes in winter and vice versa, camping gear that shouldn’t go in the garage, guest beds, etc.
That’s why a bungalow was chosen anyway, because you don’t want to constantly walk stairs.
