1. This is not a discussion thread, but an information thread, as some have asked me to continue the thread. If you want to complain, you have to go somewhere else. If you want to answer questions or inform yourself about the further construction, feel free to take a look.

2. I have rarely seen such an attempt to impose one’s opinion. Second time for you. We can reach everywhere (except my wife to the top cabinets on the oven wall). You say that we have useless cabinets, strange.

3. I am the first to admit mistakes. There are two things I/we would do differently now. The kitchen is not one of them. I say we like it immensely. You: What else should I say? Great basis for discussion in an information thread.

Hopefully you realize yourself that no matter what people tell you, you don’t believe it anyway, or you have your own opinion. It’s like with my 70-year-old father. When he says the earth is flat, it’s no use arguing with him about it....

That really sums it up well.

Sometimes it's like kindergarten how some people are obsessed with trying to badmouth certain aspects...

… Like father, like son ;) …

It is and remains a forum, regardless of your reasons for posting here. I evaluate and, if I criticize, only what I see here. That has little to do with my opinion. But you have never understood the difference.

You won't believe it... I have this boutonniere from my niece's wedding in the glass display case of my living room cabinet... :D

So you also have a father like that? Explains a lot...

What good does it do to criticize a purchased and installed kitchen? Nothing will change, and the kitchen will remain unchanged for 10-15 years. Hopefully you realize that it is pointless. It is your own subjective opinion. We like it very much, even if you don’t believe it.

So I didn’t want to keep nitpicking, so I accepted for myself that you think it’s fine as it is. But it could also have been that you just hadn’t noticed it, and after the comments on the picture/in real life looking at it you thought: Ah, now I see it too, I’ll at least hang it at the same height as the top edge of the window... Sometimes you’re just blind from working on something... Apart from that: I think it’s good that you keep reporting.
