Construction of a 144 sqm bungalow in Fichtenwalde (near Potsdam)

We build 40Plus. The U-value does not differ from a plastic window and is therefore irrelevant.

The windows last longer, are more ecological (since they are largely made of natural materials), look better, and provide a cozier living experience.

The question is whether the price difference is not significant given current building material prices. I can gladly inquire :-)

Can you add real furniture and their dimensions to this once? I have the feeling that the living/dining area is already a bit tight. Then there is a cabinet or something in the middle of the hallway walking path? The bedroom seems very narrow to me, I cannot read the dimensions exactly. Therefore, I would draw in furniture and check the distances!

We have already done that. All the furniture fits and the walkways are sufficient. We did not want mega large rooms. The bedroom measures 3.11m x 4.625m (minus plaster). With a 2m-2.2m long bed, you still have about 85cm of passage.

The question is whether the price difference is not significant given the current building material prices. Feel free to ask :-)

For us, with significantly more and larger window areas, it is an additional €4,500 including VAT (windows from the company Stöckel).

Instead of the foil-covered plastic windows, have you considered wood-aluminum windows? The extra cost is certainly affordable for a bungalow of your size.

From your window manufacturer, I have an unusually positive impression; otherwise, you can read here with the search terms "wood/aluminum" or "wood-aluminum" and "11ant" what I think of most wood-aluminum windows.

The dimensions and layout of the rooms are quite coherent. Personally, I don't like the dressing room and the fiddly built-in closet options for the wardrobe. Also, I find the living room way too dark – a few less wall stubs and thus more spaciousness could actually make this "my house," if the open-plan area gets at least some additional uncovered window space. But my house would always have an open roof with an air space ;)
