I find it interesting that the foundation and the base slab are two separate parts. And they are also made on different days.

It was the same for me. Apparently, the base slab is not necessarily the supporting structure (don’t ask me how that works). In any case, it was pointed out at the ["Einkaufszentrum um die Ecke"] that this is statically possible, but reveals the cheapest form of construction. I can say nothing more about it except that the experts there are very elitist and regarding building methods, probably tend to choose from the upper shelf (not necessarily price-wise, but in terms of technical standards). My expert certainly said nothing negative about it.

For us, it is one part. Whether it is technically better this way or that way, I do not know either. I would have thought that it is always done this way because it is certainly cheaper.

This gravel that goes in there was called filling sand with us, according to the earthworks contractor it is capable of being compacted to a prescribed value, load-bearing for an entire house, trench walls, for example, do not collapse. With us, a 16x10m slab, strip foundations and the slab were also poured in one go, without steel mesh, with fiber concrete

It was the same general contractor, right? For us, also separate!

Yes, same general contractor, and he seems to always do this with bungalows. Under the interior walls, there are also strip foundations in some places.
