We have now been waiting again for 3 weeks for the approval from the [Strassenamt] for the use of the [Landstrasse] for the construction of a construction road. I could swear again....

Today I removed the fence. Surveyors were here yesterday and surveyed both boundaries (left and right). Today I marked the boundary on the left (towards the forest) with barrier tape.

Approval for the country road came yesterday. The plan is to create the construction road next week and then start the tree felling from 01.11.

By the way, the neighbors removed the gate and cleaned everything up without being asked. I was very pleasantly surprised.

It’s finally starting. Tomorrow the earthworks contractor will come and create the construction road. Next week then tree felling. Earthworks at the end of November :-) At least that’s the plan.

@Tom, are you installing a fireplace? Then you will already have plenty of wood for the next years... :cool: We were unfortunately not allowed to install a fireplace. The neighboring houses with the [entscheidenen Fenstern] were unfortunately too close. The neighboring houses are all 1.5 stories and ours is a bungalow.
