There are also so-called half bricks if you want an offset. At least I found a similar system with tongue and groove online.

Sure, standard on the pallet are always half bricks or edge bricks; at first I thought they were natural stones and then edited my post. Last year, a van crashed into my neighbor's house on black ice at 15 km/h – the wall stayed standing, but the damage was not exactly small.

I rather suspect that it’s due to his "terrace overhang". That’s why we "deselected" it and added the terrace separately at the back.
My wife was also concerned that it might become "too dark". Now we have good lighting and it’s bright, but also quite warm in the living room.
The only option is to activate the shading during the day. Then the temperatures are manageable in the evening as well.
