I’m not sure to what extent it is different here in NRW compared to your area, but here it’s not the office that comes, rather you have to hire a surveyor (if necessary after a request from the office) who officially measures your building and transfers it to the cadastre. The surveyor only does that and charges a four-figure sum for it. If you want additional points to be marked, that costs extra – with us around 500 EUR per point. There are no alternatives unless you measure yourself and are satisfied with the accuracy, which carries the risk that you don’t hit the points. If you only want the points marked, that costs an additional base amount of around 300 EUR. We just had this issue...
