That's how it looks. That's where the pipe for the overhead shower runs. Can't you put the shelf in the side wall? At least it's unnecessarily high like that.

It would look a bit strange, since drywall would have to go there as well. Is a narrower but long shelf possible with 18cm drywall? I'll add the distances as well.

We will probably just take a tub that is 10 cm shorter.

I wouldn't do that, not only because tubs in short sizes can be considerably more expensive. You get clean in the shower; the tub has to have wellness quality.

If I may say something? :D The wash area is also getting a false wall... so I would turn the tub towards the wall and then put the toilet by the window next to the wash area. Visually protected by the cabinets... and there would still be space for a shelf for the tub :)

We have implemented it exactly like that and the planner is adjusting it. So: - Toilet under the window - Bathtub on the right wall - Shelf slightly above the height of the bathtub - Base cabinet is being extended - Very large mirror above the base cabinet One more question. Exterior windowsills. Are they installed in the end and can we source them externally or is it important that they come from the same company that installs the windows?

Since the exterior window sills significantly contribute to rain tightness, do not install them yourself or afterwards, and for warranty reasons have them installed, if possible, by the window manufacturer who also installs the windows.
