Tell us something about the heating capacity of your fireplace. Presumably 7 kW. Have fun with the 2nd or 3rd burn... sauna says hello. You will probably accuse me of just blabbering again. No, pure practice. Our previous house, also HT 0.2, had a water-guided fireplace with 10 kW. A quality product from Spartherm. The important thing was the distribution: 80% to the 1000-liter storage tank and only 2 kW for the room. Nevertheless, it got warm after the 2nd burn... For a low-energy house, I wouldn't install a unit like yours.

The fact that it can be done differently, they were probably not informed about and assume that it will be the same with others...It always depends on what you like. Our fireplace in the kfw55 house was on every evening in winter until April. The heating was set to only 20 to 21 degrees, but thanks to the fireplace, we had a pleasant 25 to 26 degrees in the living area in the evening. And that with pleasant radiant heat. Not a sauna.
