I feel the same way. Above all, the extractor in the middle would bother me. I would always be afraid that something would get inside. And I think it doesn’t clean very well. Especially if something has boiled over and flows into the gaps.

I can speak from experience. Everything can be taken out and there is a special catch container and a filter inside. If there really is too much water running around, the stove shuts off completely. But yes, I feel the need to clean the cooktop more often than with my old ceramic cooktop. However, that could also be because it is right in front of the window. My old one was more in a darker spot, you even cast a shadow on it yourself and I didn’t illuminate it specifically except from the range hood..
