How much space do you have between the fireplace and the window for the sofa? The fireplace was originally planned on the exterior wall…

Between the fireplace and the window there will be a lowboard and the TV will be mounted on the wall. The lowboard is about 2m long. There is over 3.50m difference between the fireplace and the window.

The sofa will go on the opposite wall. That’s why the opening of the lift-and-slide door was chosen that way. The sofa shouldn’t be too long since there are three of us. We will order our old one again, which is 2.60m long. That way, you can enjoy/watch the fire from the sofa

Attached for clarification is the floor plan of the living room, as well as pictures of the fireplace.

I also have a 2 meter wide board mounted on the wall, installed "floating." But the TV is attached to this board. This way it can be turned slightly and I was able to hide the cables invisibly. Thus, our little floor robot can easily clean underneath.

The electrician created special cable channels for the TVs and added extra sockets/LAN connections. So the cables are no longer visible. You can see this in the photo behind the stove.

The cables are also completely inside the walls with us. Only the rest of the wiring, between the TV and the SB, the sound system for the kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area, could be hidden so perfectly. My second Fritzbox, the TS Smarthome box, and the Philips Hue are also installed inside. This way, my wife is perfectly happy that nothing is standing around or is a "dust catcher".

How much distance does the TV have from the fireplace? The radiation heat should not be underestimated. This could potentially shorten the lifespan of your TV...
