The drywall construction has been completed. Next week, the tiler will come and the fireplace will be finally finished. In the garden, the surface collectors are still being diligently laid. The drainage system as well as the electricity and water connections are also being installed in the garden.

This gap by the toilet is a shelf, I assume? In the shower, there are heating coils from the underfloor heating, right? In our case, the entire area was left out, I'm just wondering why.

Yes, that will be an illuminated shelf. Two more will follow. One directly above the bathtub and one in the shower partition (inside). But that will be done by the tiler. And why they were left out at your place, I don’t know :-)

Why the professional installs heating coils in the walk-in shower: so that in smaller bathrooms the heater is sufficient to warm the room. Often 7-8 sqm are not enough, then the shower is also equipped so that it suffices. However, it is usually also the owner's wish, which must be communicated. Because often in the construction specification or model house “only” a shower tray without underfloor heating is planned. If the owner then upgrades, you have to think everything through yourself, including the tiled floor, for example. That’s why there is the forum to help ;)
does not have a cheap contractor as the general contractor.

There is also a technical reason to avoid it. For walk-in showers, the screed must be installed with a slope. Then the minimum coverage over the heating pipes, usually 45mm, is often no longer formally achieved there. I have it in my place, so the screed had to be done on site there. Whether the minimum coverage was maintained, I do not know, and I do not care.
