Construction of a 144 sqm bungalow in Fichtenwalde (near Potsdam)

it's me again :-) Wanted to give you an update :cool: So far, almost everything is running smoothly. There are two problems, rather challenges.

1. Unfortunately, we didn't know that the front door had to be installed with the windows. Nothing was mentioned in the construction plan, so we only ordered it externally about a month ago and it will arrive at the beginning of June. Therefore, the exterior plaster and also the screed could not be finalized.
2. During the exterior plastering, the plasterers' hose burst and the plaster stained the roof as well as the neighbor's brick facade. This will probably be covered by the plasterers' insurance and professionally cleaned.

Currently, final pipework for the sanitary facilities, heating, and electricity is being installed, underfloor heating can be laid from the beginning of May, and the screed will be poured the following week.

Photovoltaic modules (13.26 kWp) are also already installed.

The only thing that is wrong, but probably with many construction companies, is the communication. You get answers sluggishly. But as long as the work progresses quickly and well, that is rather a minor issue for me.

However, it can also be different: we had German-speaking craftsmen companies whose employees were very happy to chat with us (which has the advantage that you could ask them for a special craft service ;)

I am talking about the communication between the CEO of the general contractor and us. We are in very good contact with the tradespeople. With the electrician, I am even allowed to give him my items, which he installs. For example, roller shutter collectors, smoke detectors, heat detectors, motion detectors....

A few photos from today. Starting Monday, the installation of the underfloor heating will continue. From 13.05., the screed will be poured.
