This is what it looks like behind our house at the moment. The white wild plants (?) are called "Daucus carota" according to the plant app, which means carrot, but no matter how many I pull out, none of them has a carrot. :-(

Is the photo missing? Or is it just me?

Yellow is probably your favorite color? That would be a bit too much yellow for me. Maybe something red or blue for a change?

Topsoil and if you have a vegetable garden area, compost.

Peat beds with rhododendron soil

Reduce the topsoil on the poor meadow

I think you are putting the cart before the horse here. First, you should consider what site conditions you have and what care concepts should be behind it. Sites can also be changed, but working with the site requires less effort and is cheaper. Sometimes, however, it makes sense: for example, with the dry stone wall, I almost automatically get some dry sites that I would otherwise have difficulty implementing on our clay soil. And in the second step, you can then select the plants that fit these sites. If possible, you should then make sure that the flowering times are well distributed throughout the year. I made the second step very easy and got ready-made mixtures. PS: what kind of plant app do you have?

I use "Flora Incognita" from the Technical University of Ilmenau. It is free and comes from the academic sector (thus funded by all taxpayers), so I hope I am allowed to mention it here without the mention being classified as advertising and me getting banned.

You are right, I forgot the photo. Please excuse me and thanks for the hint.
(Also for the option that it could be on your side; that is not widespread. Sometimes I think to myself, "It's not always others' fault." :) )
