Into the blue - that's pointless. What do YOU expect from a floor? And why?

we have tiles that look like tiles and do not want to be wood. In winter everything warm (VT at 30 degrees), in summer pleasantly cool, and the surface absolutely easy to maintain

That it looks good. We definitely want light wooden flooring or wood-look flooring. We know that for sure :-)

The answer reminds me of a colleague's response to the IT technician's question about which phone she uses: a silver one.
Do you have pets? Children riding Bobby cars? Do you only walk barefoot or do you wear slippers? Do you like cleaning?

My thoughts on the floor were as follows:

I want a relatively scratch-resistant floor on the ground floor that is not slippery for my dog, easy to clean, and durable.
I know that there are quite good solutions for transitions between, for example, wooden floors and tiles. But I didn’t like them.
I find many tiles super ugly, especially if they were to be laid throughout the entire ground floor.
So I decided on (here many strongly opposed) tiles in a wood look, in a gray tone.
Because of the wood look, dirt is not as quickly visible as on single-colored tiles.
Cleaning is not our biggest hobby (but we also don’t like it dirty ^^), so a robot vacuum cleaner is planned.

Upstairs, there will be solid spruce wood floorboards – some people reject this because of underfloor heating, but we have found a good solution for ourselves.

No street shoes are to be worn throughout the entire house.
In winter, we wear socks or slippers because we find only around 20, 21 degrees comfortable, and the feet can get cold otherwise.
In summer, I find tiles very pleasant.

Therefore, this was the right choice for us.

No pets, child 9 years old, also walk barefoot in summer, otherwise slippers. My wife does not like cleaning :-)
