Of course, I can only ever speak for myself and wouldn’t write in a forum like others do telling you to do this or that. Everyone has different ideas and different needs, but you don’t necessarily have to repeat the mistakes of others. At a cost of 4000,- I would think twice about whether it’s worth it to me. At the moment, I believe 1.49 per 1000 liters, you can water for a very long time before reaching that point. My brother has a similar property to yours and is an absolute watering expert. He waters 1000 liters in the garden every day in summer. With that consumption, assuming he does it for about half a year and a garden water meter, he could water for roughly 14 years. I see it with the 6m3 we have now, we haven’t tapped into it at all this year because it has been raining continuously. I hope the next years will be nicer, but things like that happen sometimes. I would find it too much of a waste to put the money into the ground.
